Before we know it,
the cold, snowy, Minnesota winter is creeping around the corner. Many kids and adults complain that winter can often get boring. So why not make it more fun by getting this cool Mega Brick Maker? This is awesome! I got this for my younger sister, both her and I love making forts and igloo’s together. This is the coolest winter toy that I’ve ever scene!

For my little sisters b
irthday, she wanted a car. However she’s only 10 years old, so that wouldn’t work! I had the great idea of getting her something else that could drive. I looked at four-wheelers and dirt bikes, but they were all out of my price range. Finally I found this great go kart at Target. It was the perfect price and the perfect gift all together for my little sister. She loves it!

If my bike commute to work is any sort of litmus test for trends, then the vintage moped is making a comeback. I’ve been seeing them all over the streets of Manhattan and Brooklyn lately. Don’t get them confused with those girly Vespas, I’m talking funky, sporty, less curvaceous, macho machines. So, I found this awesome book Funky Mopeds: The 1970s Sports Moped Phenomenon to help get me up to…speed…on what’s fast becoming the coolest mode of transport.
I also discovered the sweet Shibuya shoe based on Japanese street moped style that brings this new moped culture into the 21st century. Both make great gifts for the extreme dude or hipster who dreams about riding or actually rides around in style on a vintage moped.
Funky Mopeds: The 1970′s Sports Moped Phenomenon starting at $25.60

Plenty of hand held electronic games can be fun but it takes a special game to be both entertaining and deeply unsettling. This small spherical game of 20 Questions looks like it rolled right out of 1979 with a retro design, old arcade style sound effects, and a red light display for its various questions and guesses. Game play could not be simpler. Just think of something and then answer the ball’s assorted queries by pressing buttons for yes, no, sometimes, or don’t know. In our informal test, the ball accurately guessed our selection of giraffe, motorcycle, and sock but came up a little short on buttered toast.
