If my bike commute to work is any sort of litmus test for trends, then the vintage moped is making a comeback. I’ve been seeing them all over the streets of Manhattan and Brooklyn lately. Don’t get them confused with those girly Vespas, I’m talking funky, sporty, less curvaceous, macho machines. So, I found this awesome book Funky Mopeds: The 1970s Sports Moped Phenomenon to help get me up to…speed…on what’s fast becoming the coolest mode of transport.
I also discovered the sweet Shibuya shoe based on Japanese street moped style that brings this new moped culture into the 21st century. Both make great gifts for the extreme dude or hipster who dreams about riding or actually rides around in style on a vintage moped.

That teenager in your life has so many CD’s and they never seem to make it back in their case! How about a DVD album to help keep those CD’s from scatching and help keep them organized?

Do you know someone who is getting married, or perhaps there is an anniversary in their future. Flatware is a great gift especially for someone you know well.
It doesnt have to be expensive to be beautiful and practical. Flatware is a lovely expression of heartfelt gift giving.

Canon has an amazing line of camera products. I wish my hubby would have purchased one of these babies instead of what I got, but at least he made it pink. I have an awesome digital SLR camera, but sometimes I just like one I can toss in my purse and carry everywhere with me. It’s a great investment, I promise. And it comes in several different colors, which means it can make just about anyone happy.
